Job Description​

Join a nationally recognized leader in neurology. BJC/Saint Luke’s Health is seeking a solution-focused Registered Nurse Clinician to join our elite Kansas City Neurology Team.
In this brand-new role, you will have the unique autonomy to help define best practices for a growing clinic while treating patients across specialties, including Stroke, MS, Movement Disorders, and Concussion care.
The Opportunity
  • Innovate: Collaborate with leadership to shape this new position within our Saint Luke’s Physician Group.
  • Specialize: Work at a premier destination for Stroke Reversal and multidisciplinary MS care.
  • Balance: Part time 32/week  Enjoy a stable Tuesday-Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) schedule with/week  no nights or weekends.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, and complex testing interpretation.
  • Care Coordination: Manage telephone triage, emergent scheduling, and pre-visit planning to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate tasks to clinical staff (LPN/MA) ensuring adherence to Nursing Scope of Practice.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage admission orders, lab result reviews, and prescription refills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Experienced RN with a passion for the patient experience.
  • Critical thinker comfortable with both autonomous work and multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Strong interest in Shared Governance and professional development.
