We’re committed to enhancing the associate experience at GEICO, and we’re looking for a Site Logistics Coordinator to support our delivery within the Fredericksburg location. You will report/work with the Location Site Manager to drive associate engagement and experiences. The Site Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, activities, and administrative functions at an assigned site. This role ensures effective coordination between staff, vendors, customers, and leadership to maintain a productive, safe, and organized environment. Our Site Logistics Coordinator will serve as the on-site point of contact for operational needs, scheduling, issue resolution, and compliance with company policies and procedures. 

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support 

  • Support the management of the daytoday site operations to ensure business continuity and efficiency. 
  • Coordinate schedules, staffing needs, and activity calendars for site programs and services. 
  • Monitor site inventory, supplies, and equipment; submit requests and track usage as needed. 
  • Serve as an on-site contact for employees, clients, and partners. 

 

Administration & Reporting 

  • Prepare, maintain, and track daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. 
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, databases, and documentation to support operational compliance. 
  • Assist with budget tracking, and expense reporting as assigned. 

Customer & Stakeholder Relations 

  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, clients, and visitors. 
  • Address questions, concerns, or issues, escalating when appropriate. 
  • Coordinate communication between the site, leadership, departments, and external partners. 

Compliance & Safety 

  • Ensure the site adheres to company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. 
  • Conduct or support safety checks, incident reporting, and risk mitigation activities. 
  • Support onboarding and training processes for new staff or volunteers at the site. 

Program & Project Coordination 

  • Assist in planning, launching, and evaluating site-specific programs or projects. 
  • Track milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. 
  • Support event coordination, logistics, and resource allocation. 

 

Qualifications: 

Education & Experience 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, administration, coordination, or related roles. 
  • Experience supervising or supporting teams is a plus. 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and other administrative systems. 
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently. 
  • Problemsolving mindset with strong attention to detail. 

Working Conditions 

  • On-site role with responsibilities that may require occasional evening or weekend hours. 
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, perform site walk-throughs, or assist with onsite operational tasks as needed.
