Role Overview

We're scaling rapidly across multiple global offices and continuing to open new offices, and we’re looking for someone to build a world-class workplace operations program. You'll inherit a team of office coordinators and managers, and your mission is to build the systems, playbooks, and standards that make every office—from a small satellite to our main headquarters—feel unmistakably Harvey.

You'll own the employee, candidate, and visitor experience across all locations, and you'll coach your team to operate at a world-class level as we scale globally. You will design scalable processes that empower distributed teams to deliver flawless execution every single day.

You'll report to our People Operations Lead and partner closely with teams across Real Estate, IT, Finance, Recruiting, and Legal.

What You'll Do

Build the Program

  • Design and document global workplace operations playbooks and standards that can be utilized across new and existing offices

  • Implement systems and tools (ticketing, vendor management, space planning, etc.) that enable seamless, scalable operations

  • Own and optimize the workplace operations budget; create spend models that make sense across different office sizes and regions

  • Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met across all offices and adapt to local regulations in each country

Lead the Team

  • Manage office coordinators and office managers

  • Set clear expectations and coach your team to consistently deliver excellence in the details

  • Hire and onboard additional team members as we expand globally

Drive Flawless Execution

  • Own employee onboarding logistics, candidate experience, visitor management, seating assignments, office moves, and everything in between

  • Manage vendor relationships (cleaners, plants, snacks, IT support, facilities, etc.) to ensure offices are pristine and well-maintained

  • Create proactive systems (cleaning rotations, stock checks, maintenance schedules) so nothing falls through the cracks

  • Handle crisis management and emergency response for workplace issues (facilities failures, safety incidents, etc.)

  • Support company events, all-hands, and offsites with workplace logistics

Partner & Scale Globally

  • Partner with Real Estate on launching new offices, expansions, move-ins, and space planning

  • Own change management communications for workplace policies, office moves, and new systems rollouts

What You Have

  • 5+ years in workplace operations, office management, or related program management roles

  • Proven experience effectively managing distributed teams with high standards for execution

  • Systems-oriented: comfortable with spreadsheets, process automation, workflow tools, and evaluating/implementing new systems

  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Autonomous, decisive, and comfortable with ambiguity—you prioritize impact and move quickly

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and holding vendors accountable to standards

  • Quick problem-solver who stays calm under pressure when urgent issues arise

  • Able to travel to offices globally (~2 weeks per quarter)

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience at high-growth startups that professionalized operations at scale

  • Familiarity with workplace tech (e.g., Envoy, ticketing systems, space management tools)

Compensation Range

$165,000 - $200,000 USD
