Job Summary: The Lead for Package Device Product Engineering is responsible for leading and managing the engineering collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring comprehensive component packaging test coverage in collaboration with Product Engineering (PE) and Technical Service Engineering (TSE). This role is pivotal in the analysis of technology nodes, new product introduction (NPI), and overseeing Failure Analysis and Failure Mode Metric Reaction programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of packaging test coverage with PE and TSE.
  • Manage and analyze technology nodes and NPI processes to ensure product reliability and efficiency.
  • Oversee Failure Analysis processes and manage the Failure Mode Metric Reaction program to mitigate risks and improve product quality.
  • Contribute to the creation of a packaging ecosystem and support the integration of design and simulation execution support models.
  • Work on process control systems integration, process simulations, and the transition of substrate standardization.
  • Drive engineering productivity and manufacturing excellence within the PDE team.
  • Ensure the team's alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field; Master's / PhD degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in package device product engineering, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of component packaging, technology nodes, NPI, and Failure Analysis.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
