This team provides each patient with the highest quality surgical care in a supportive, healing environment. The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) cares for post-surgical patients waiting for their anesthesia to wear off. An RN in this role, will also assist Anesthesia in the pre-operative area with regional blocks, large pops of total joints and same-day discharge. Not only will you help to enhance the experience of patients and their families, but Cleveland Clinic will help you out too. The Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.

A caregiver in this position works days from 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
