What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and grow a team of 6 to 10 Sales Development Representatives who prospect to Fortune 1000 accounts
- Coaching and developing prospecting mastery and sales discovery skills within your team
- Partner with sales leaders to understand initiatives and growth goals plus help develop programs to achieve those goals
- Understand gaps and develop strategies and implement processes to fill them
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Author and optimize customer talking points, talk tracks and sales play cadences along with persona messaging
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss execution plans
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
- Implement overarching outbound sales and business development execution plans, inform sales processes, and best practices across the company
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
- Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics
- Optimize pipeline acceptance through alignment with sales teams
- Build talent bench & optimize rep ramp to peak performance
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of sales development experience in high-tech or service-related industries, preferably cyber security or software sales
- 2+ years of management experience
- A team player who has a proven track record of driving pipeline growth
- Outstanding interpersonal, written communication, and strong/succinct oral communication skills are essential
- Proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, Marketo and Tableau
- Solid problem-solving and consultative skills
- Competitive nature with a solution-focused mindset
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing business development/sales teams
- Relationship builder – both internally and externally
- Occasional travel, internationally and domestically
