Position Summary:

The Commercial Analyst maintains and monitors commercial operations analysis for the F&S North America Business Units. The role is responsible for the timely and accurate collection and reporting of commercial and business analytics (KPI’s) across multiple platforms such as Salesforce, Syteline, JDE, Quote Writer, BI Publisher, and SAP Webi. This role will also be responsible for parts of the month end close process and participates in inter-departmental projects as required to support business decisions and profitability improvement. This role reports directly to the VP of Finance for North America with dotted line to the VP of Sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to the following:

• Manage the daily operation of sales related applications e.g. Salesforce, Quote Writer, system reporting, etc.  
• Responsible for data input and managing data integrity in those software programs
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide daily/weekly/monthly reports to Commercial and Finance team
• Relay results of data analysis to Sales Operations team to guide the Commercial teams in achieving their strategic goals and suggest improvements
• Develop systems to track and report sales and salesperson effectiveness
• Develop methods to assist with the improvement of data collection.
• Work cross-functionally with the IT and Finance departments to develop standardized and automated reports as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities                                          

This role will not have supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Must be able to travel 10% of the time
• Minimum of 1-3 years of business experience or extended internships
• 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
• Experience with customer relationship management systems, such as Salesforce, Syteline, JD Edwards and Quote Writer preferred
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Related experience in the fire industry a bonus
