Integrated Maintenance, repair and development services (IMRDS) is the team that maintains our water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service our customers. This area of Anglian Water has a whole host of roles and opportunities available, from operational frontline work to project management, data analysis and more.

With this in mind, we are looking for a Planner to join the team on a permanent basis to provide proactive, efficient and customer driven planning services to IMRDS and our customers.    

 

What will you be doing? 

Working within Integrated Maintenance, repair and development services (IMRDS), you as our Operational Planner will provide tactical and operational resource planning.  Key responsibilities of the role include enabling, planning and in-day management of our leakage and customer jobs, delivering efficient schedules to Customer Service front line teams so as to provide an optimum resource fit against forecast demand.  The Planning Team is the central hub for our operational teams and is pivotal in driving the delivery of our business targets and objectives.

What do you need? 

·Strong awareness & understanding of water network issues 

·Excellent IT and keyboard skills.

·Excellent interpersonal, planning/scheduling, customer service and communication skills 

·Able to work under pressure in a reactive environment, where change is the norm 

·Experience in a similar operational role would be advantageous
