The Production Scheduler is responsible for managing procedures and controls for quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of movement and storage of goods, while ensuring customer delivery and quality expectations are met.

  • Establish a procedure for the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of movement and storage of goods to include daily and weekly distribution goals and objectives and ensures execution; Meet customer delivery and quality expectations;
  • Ensures production schedules are maintained to provide for a 100% sales order fill on a daily basis.
  • Maintain effective internal control over the product flow and account for inventory through receiving, shipping and other inventory areas.
  • Perform functions related to production scheduling, procurement, customer service and/or shipping of products.
  • Plan and coordinate schedule line change-over and production runs according to customer demand.
  • Maintain plant level accounting functions to include raw material and finished goods inventory management.
  • Inputting customer feedback into the Quality Database & Customer Feedback Database.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; Reconciling with data storage system; Review production costs and product quality.
  • Modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance the profitable operation of the plant.
  • Coordinate production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with principles, policies, and procedures established by the company and all regulatory agencies.
  • Directly supervise and coordinate activities of employees in a high volume production environment.
  • Ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible; Enter product shipment information into JDE database.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • High level of knowledge of machinery and production systems.
  • JDE database knowledge


Preferred:

  • AS degree is preferred.
  • Blow or Injection Mold experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish.
  • A drive to strive for continuous improvement.
  • Computer skills.
