We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join Snowflake's Data Science & Analytics team. In this role, you will provide data-driven insights that guide decision-making across various business teams at Snowflake. You will work with large-scale datasets, using cutting-edge BI tools to uncover trends, measure performance, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization. This is a generalist role, offering the opportunity to work on a broad range of analytics challenges, leveraging tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and Streamlit to drive insights.

AS A DATA ANALYST AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL,

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data analysis and insights
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify key trends and performance indicators
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and Power BI to communicate data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights, improve processes, and inform decision-making
  • Use data visualization tools to build dynamic applications using Streamlit or similar frameworks
  • Support strategic projects by providing data-driven recommendations and actionable insights
  • Present your findings in clear, visual formats to influence business decisions at all levels of the organization

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE,

  • Strong analytical thinking with a passion for working with data and insights
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of key business metrics.
  • 3+ years experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Power BI
  • Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Experience with data wrangling and analysis using Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
  • Familiarity with building interactive data visualizations or applications using Streamlit or other related tools
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data and insights
  • A proactive approach to learning new tools and staying up-to-date with advancements in data analytics. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with basic statistical analysis, AI, ML and data science, to work alongside Data Scientists and ML Scientists. 
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline automation.
  • Experience on Snowflake will be a plus.
