Job Description Summary:

The activation marketer is responsible to spearhead marketing strategies to drive division’s growth. This includes enhancing the awareness & and value proposition of the offerings amongst stakeholders (end customers , channel & influencers) , while simultaneously ensuring alignment with the company's mission and other functions.

Job Responsibilities:

Position is intended for individuals who have a background in product or trade marketing in similar or other markets that are nascent and growing fast. Basic expectations include the ability to   anticipate market & internal needs, focus on the business goals and being exceptionally persistent. The individual should be able to create & run marketing initiatives like lead generation campaigns, website optimization, creating sales collaterals & tools, market sizing & research and conducting basic price/ profit analysis with periodic supervision & assistance. When necessary, should exhibit good judgement to request & receive assistance in handling situations that require greater experience or knowledge as applicable

Job responsibilities for this role are as follows:

·Work with the India sales team,  Global Key Account Managers, Area Segment Marketers, and Application Development Engineers to understand the latest spec in and new product applications being developed for key customer segments globally and within Asia. Effectively use the information obtained to identify and run awareness building and lead generation initiatives to enable opportunity creation for the business

·Build the market size view for relevant segments & products based on available data. Align marketing investments & support to  ensure that 3M EMSD India is covering the market & reaching the right stakeholders

·Work closely with external stakeholders – end customers, channel partners and contract manufacturers to create the right awareness for 3M’s products and brands in the market.

·Collaborate with internal stakeholders for reporting, budgets & other investment needs as required for the business from time to time

·Be the single point of contact for internal stakeholders in terms of campaign performance,  product pricing, channel discounts/ rebates program & external/internal communication for the division
