Reporting to the Senior HRIS Solutions Manager, the HRIS Solutions Specialist works closely with the Global HRIS Lead, HR Managers, and HR Business Partners to help support and maintain the  firm’s People management platform (Workday). This position provides support for Workday Human Capital Management, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking and Absence through the maintenance and development of the platform in these areas.  In addition, the HRIS Solutions Specialist assists the People function with projects and personnel reports/analytics, as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Support data entry quality and initiate changes and improvements as needed
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for  Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking and Absence functional areas of the firm’s Workday systems
  • Have a sound understanding of Workday Security and be able to update security policies as needed to support the functional areas supported
  • Mentor and support other team members within HRIS in building knowledge of the functional areas of expertise
  • Respond to reporting requests and create reports as needed (although note we have a dedicated reporting team)
  • Support stakeholders with requirements gathering and specification definition for business processes and projects
  • Provide support and back up to the HRIS Solutions Manager on routine maintenance tasks and projects
  • Coordinate system enhancements across functional areas and departments, as necessary
  • Troubleshoot moderately complex customer and system issues, including error messages, login difficulties, access denials, and data issues in HRIS systems; work closely with IT and/or vendor technical support as needed
  • Respond to work tickets issued by Technology Support or end users and troubleshoot
  • Assist the HRIS Solutions Managers with data cleanup activities
  • Support design/structure of data in Workday and the integration with external (non-Workday) systems
  • Coordinate data architecture changes/additions with the IT department's Information Management team
  • Support ad hoc requests and projects as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience maintaining and configuring Workday
  • In-depth configuration knowledge of  Workday Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking and Absence
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated; Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience configuring Workday
  • Experience working in Human Resources preferred
  • College degree preferred

HOURS

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including lunch hour, with flexibility for overtime as needed.

The annualized salary range for this position is $105,000 to $122,500 depending on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. In addition, full time employees as well as some part time employees, will be eligible for the firm’s fringe benefits as they currently exists.
