About the Opportunity:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba team as a Speech Pathologist in our Allied Health Team. This is a casual position, and you will be pivotal in assisting our patients to improve their mobility and their standard of living.

Things that work for us:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology / Masters of Speech Pathology or equivalent

  • Certificated Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a private hospital or acute facility, desirable but not essential

  • Strong commitment and professionalism to patient centred care

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends.
