The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Machine Operator for the 3M Varnamo Site you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

As a Machine Operator, you play a key role in our production process. You will be responsible for setting up equipment, monitoring operations, and ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards. You will work as part of a team where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are essential to the daily workflow.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Set up and operate production machines
• Monitor machine performance and production processes
• Perform machine setup for production starts and product changes
• Troubleshoot issues and carry out basic maintenance
• Conduct quality control on produced items
• Work independently while contributing positively to team development and collaboration

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in machine operation or production work
• Strong technical interest and aptitude
• Thorough, responsible, and solution-oriented

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience working with injection molding machines (injection molding, plastic molding)
• Experience with automated machinery, robots, or advanced production technology
• Overhead crane certification
• Forklift license

Dina färdigheter och erfarenheter
För att du ska lyckas i denna roll från första dagen söker 3M kandidater som uppfyller följande minimikrav:

• Flytande svenska, både i tal och skrift
• Erfarenhet av maskinoperatörsarbete eller produktionsarbete
• Starkt tekniskt intresse och teknisk fallenhet
• Noggrann, ansvarstagande och lösningsorienterad

Ytterligare kunskaper / meriterande färdigheter / önskvärda kvalifikationer som kan hjälpa dig att lyckas ännu bättre i denna roll inkluderar:

• Erfarenhet av arbete med formsprutningsmaskiner, till exempel formsprutning eller plastgjutning
• Erfarenhet av automatiserade maskiner, robotar eller avancerad produktionsteknik
• Traverskort
