Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist veterinarians in providing high-quality care to our animal patients, ensuring their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.

  • Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.

  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.

  • Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures.

  • Provide nursing care and support to hospitalized patients.

  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic and surgical areas.

  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering of supplies.

Qualifications:
  • years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of animal behavior and medical terminology.

  • Proficiency in using veterinary software and equipment.

Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Compassion for animals and their owners.

Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced veterinary clinic setting.
