Manages a team of individual contributors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. The Lead of Commercial Operations & Effectiveness for Heart Recovery in Japan will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of commercial activities across the region. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of impactful commercial strategies aligned with corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the healthcare/medical device industry, Japan market dynamics, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth for Heart Recovery products.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day commercial operations, internal administrative processes, sales Incentive scheme ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate standards.
• Market & Customer Insights: Drive market intelligence initiatives to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
• Sales & Business Development: Collaborates with senior management and sales leaders to maximize best-in-class sales management tools, enablers, resources, and systems.
• Effectiveness & Process Optimization: Enhance commercial processes, leverage digital tools, and implement best practices to improve productivity and outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales leaders, Marketing, Field Service, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of commercial plans.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities adhere to regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
• Budget & Forecasting: Manage sales compensation plans, sales campaigns, track KPIs, and provide accurate forecasts to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial operations within the healthcare or medical device industry, with a focus on cardiology, heart recovery, or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience across all departments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in digital tools and data analytics for decision-making.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, and Business level English proficiency
