Position Overview:

As part of the talented Die Cast Operations team, you will perform complete die cast operations on many different parts using manual and/or automated die cast equipment under the direction of the Die Cast Supervisor. This is a 3rd shift (night shift) position.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform complete casting operations on many different parts
  • Perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals
  • Arrange for periodic quality checks by support personnel such as in-process layout
  • Understand manufacturing documentation common to the classification which may include process sheets, manufacturing instruction sheets, layout reports, set-up instructions, or other job-related documentation
  • Perform minor preventive maintenance inherent to the classification and equipment
  • Take appropriate corrective action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate individuals when furth action must be taken
  • Clean and organize work area and equipment at close of shift and at other times as required
  • Report time and attendance and record production and quality as required
  • Observe all safety rules and follow at all times what is known to be safe practice

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and physical

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

  • This position works in a Foundry environment
  • Exposure to heat and dust

The pay range for this position is $28.27 to $31.98 hourly.
