Johnson Controls Global Marine and Navy business delivers HVAC, Fire Protection & Refrigeration solutions to a wide range of applications within the Cruise, Offshore, Naval and Marine markets.

As a member of our sales team, you will be focused at driving new service sales, for our Nordic regions. With our offices based in Norrkoping, Sweden, and the ability to offer hybrid working, you will form part of our established Service Sales Teams based across the world. The role will require you to travel approximate 30 - 50 days per year, as dictated by customer meetings etc.

How you will do it

As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for targeting new customer growth by promoting and selling our aftersales services such as, spare and replacement parts, emergency and planned service and maintenance and planned service agreements, on HVAC, Refrigeration, Fire and Remote Monitoring services to a wide range of customer within our segment.

This is a ‘Proactive Sales Hunter’ role, so we are seeking people with passion, enthusiasm and the tenacity to seek those opportunities then execute on them! You will be by supported by enterprise tools, data sets, valuable customer insight and value selling concepts to deliver targeted growth. You will also ensure effective adoption of Company systems, tools, pricing policies and sales processes.

Through using our current market intelligence and industry networking tools you will blend field activity with conversations with new clients to capture any opportunities available to you.

Salesforce.com is the CRM tool within the business and our Marketing function is also able to support with external communications and tailoring customer campaigns you require to assist you with performing your growth strategy.

What we look for

Experience in field sales and in-depth knowledge of business development, opportunity, and pipeline management. Proven track record of achieving results and closing deals.

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels like networking, utilising internal and market data and social media.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) to effectively convey value propositions and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Strong negotiation skills to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Self-Motivation and Drive: Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and sales techniques to stay ahead in the market.
  • Selling technical service solutions on either HVAC/Refrigeration/ Fire Protection systems within the Marine or offshore Market and having experience working with major shipyards and owners would be an advantage
