Our ideal candidate will be located in Nashville, TN, but we are willing to consider candidates from Eden Prairie, MN as well.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Communicate role expectations, delegate tasks, monitor results, and provide coaching to meet productivity, quality, efficiency, and service goals.

  • Conduct regular check-ins and annual reviews. Support team development by understanding individual needs and creating growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with next-level leaders to manage change and adopt new tools, technology, processes, and expectations.

  • Participate in recruiting, selecting, promoting, and aligning diverse talent.

  • Encourage feedback through various channels and work with managers to act on it, fostering open communication, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

  • Optimize daily workflow for quality and efficiency. Monitor and assess processes to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Serve as an escalation point for exceptions and problem resolution.

  • Ensure team understands and uses available tools and systems. Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to improve system effectiveness and performance.

  • Build relationships, communicate effectively, and partner on problem-solving.

  • Prepare performance reports to provide insights on production, expenses, and service quality. Take action to improve results as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 3 years of customer service in an operations environment

  • Minimum 1 year of leading or managing teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment

  • Previous supply chain or transportation experience

  • Previous Supervisor experience

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Knowledge of C.H. Robinson’s services

  • Previous experience working on projects and initiatives with individuals outside of peer group

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

  • Ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to foster a collaborative and adaptive teamwork and communication style

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to both internal and external audiences

  • Ability to understand performance and financial metrics

  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, and ability to prioritize tasks between daily responsibilities

  • Embraces change and employs a continuous improvement approach to their work
