Pratt and Whitney has an exciting new opportunity with our Commercial Engines Campaign Finance group for a FP&A Manager.

This position will report within the commercial finance group supporting the Customer Business Organization (CBO) and will be an onsite position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Campaigns Finance Manager to influence the next generation of Pratt & Whitney products and services. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, financially savvy, and passionate about delivering impactful results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This role provides a unique chance to make a strategic impact while building a strong understanding of engine products and their aftermarket offerings.

What You Will Do:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Campaigns and Restructures Group, where you will gain expertise in engine program strategies and financials while collaborating across business cultures.

You will work closely with the Customer Focus Team and key stakeholders, including Sales, Contracts, Legal, Programs, Operations Analytics, Engine Services, and Accounting, to drive financial strategies and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Develop and manage multiple complex financial models to affirm value for New Engine Business, Aftermarket campaign proposals, and restructuring initiatives across global regions.

- Lead campaign strategy formulation, from kick-off to final decision, partnering with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Contracts, Legal, Programs, Operations Analytics, Engine Services, and Accounting.

- Conduct detailed sensitivity analyses on engine contract pricing to determine optimal engine cost and aftermarket terms, maximizing value for both customers and Pratt & Whitney.

- Ensure cost sheet models reflect strong economics and financial metrics aligned with long-range portfolio targets.

- Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for approval and decision-making.

- Review proposal documentation and contracts to ensure accuracy of commitments and conditions offered to the customer.

- Perform ad hoc sensitivity analyses and provide decision-making support to CE Finance and the broader CBO team, utilizing the Campaigns Portfolio Database.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of next-generation finance tools and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with other CBO and finance teams to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

- Manage workload effectively to meet campaign and restructuring deadlines, which may occasionally require overtime.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams.

- U.S. Citizenship is required due to access to restricted systems/tools.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Teams, SPACE, and other finance platforms.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously with limited oversight.

- Experience with contract EAC (Estimate at Completion) processes.

- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and analytical skills to influence business outcomes effectively.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
