What You'll Do:

The Site Leader supports the Site Manager in all aspects of operations to ensure the effective functioning of retail and commercial sales of contractor supply materials. This role is instrumental in maintaining inventory integrity, assisting in operational processes, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Site Leader fosters a collaborative and positive work environment while helping ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction at the site and regional Express Locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Support, Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Assist the Site Manager in leading and mentoring Team Members.
    • Provide coaching and training to ensure Team alignment with company processes and policies.
    • Act as a point of contact for team Members in the Site Manager’s absence.
    • Work closely with Cemstone Supply Operations, Sourcing, and Sales Team to facilitate smooth workflows.
    • Assist in implementing marketing strategies and maintaining consistent branding and customer experience.
  • Operational Support:
    • Assist in managing staffing levels to meet operational needs.
    • Support the execution and monitoring of operational processes, including order taking, RMA’s, rental items (if applicable), order fulfillment, delivery expectations and inventory control.
    • Ensure timely processing of the creation of sales orders incoming through various channels to exceed internal and external customers’ expectations.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Aid in maintaining accurate inventory to balance customer satisfaction.
    • Support cycle counts and assist in implementing inventory policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Assist in resolving customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
    • Collaborate with customers to enhance relationship and exceed expectations through operational excellence.
  • Site Maintenance and Appearance:
    • Set the example to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe site environment.
    • Responsible for keeping materials properly stocked on showroom shelves.
    • Communicate safety or maintenance concerns to the Site Manager.
  • Administrative and Reporting Tasks:
    • Assist with daily paperwork processing, including bank deposits, sales orders, and monthly safety training.
    • Monitor open orders and communicate updates to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager or management.
  • Leadership:
    • Support the Site Manager in motivating, coaching and guiding the Team.
    • Encourage a cooperative and positive work environment.
  • Customer Service:
    • Address internal and external customer needs effectively and timely while seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Commit to delivering high-quality service and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Contribute to process improvements that align with strategic goals.
    • Maintain focus on accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration in daily operations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Foster a supportive and include Team culture.
    • Provide constructive feedback and assist in professional development efforts.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree an accredited college or university; or three years related experience and/or training in retail management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business operations management or a related role.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience and utilization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role in operations, supply chain or industry related field.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and operational processes.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
