Job Description:
The Early Talent team, part of TD's Talent Acquisition team plays a key role in supporting the business through attracting, identifying and selecting top Campus talent. Developing this talent is an underpinning of what we do at TD, where the focus in on you! They are equipped and empowered to actively promote TD's employment value proposition through the use of HR technology and social tools that enables the telling of the TD story to the external marketplace. This team engages students and new graduates from across Canada for opportunities to join TD in one of its many lines of business from Technology, Wealth, Securities, Risk, Insurance, and more. You will be part of a team that both recruits and manages the experience for co-ops, interns and new graduates.
You are responsible for managing all aspects of Early Talent acquisition for TD Securities. These responsibilities include creating and delivering presentations on and off-campus, building and maintaining a pipeline of suitable candidates across various geographies – through all stages of the recruiting pipeline, managing social media deliverables, planning, managing and executing events and large-scale conferences, assessing candidates via interview and screening, managing the referral process internally, leveraging HR technologies, candidate tracking and management (including data collection).
This position will focus on proactively attracting, identifying and selecting top talent from campuses across Canada in support of your respective business line. The position will partner with Program Managers, University Relations and the other Early Talent Recruiters to build talent pipelines based on current and anticipated talent needs. Working with the team to create and execute a consistent campus recruiting and branding strategy across our business lines will be crucial to your success in the role.
This role will require a moderate degree of travel (by car, rail and plane) within Canada to various Colleges and Universities during peak seasons. Seasonally, this travel can become considerable. As well, due to the timing of on and off-campus events, this role is not "9 to 5" and will require work during evenings and weekends at times. TD is committed to being a flexible workplace.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of work experience in talent attraction, having exhibited a high degree of performance is an asset
Strong understanding of HR Management Practices
Strong computer skills, with an ability to utilize our internal applicant tracking system
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to effectively sell and market positions within the TD Bank Group
A creative and enthusiastic attitude
Strong relationship management skills
Well-organized, and can prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and positive attitude
Ability to be effective in both a team and independent working environment
Superior verbal and written communications skills
Critical thinking with an ability to see the "big picture" in a complex matrixed environment
Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn and make an impact
Problem solving and analytical capability
Adaptable with the ability to quickly adjust to a changing environment
Ability to communicate effectively to many different types of audiences
Able to work autonomously

HR designation
Experience in Talent Acquisition / Campus Recruitment
Experience in the Financial Industry is an asset
Experience with Workday
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to manage large sets of data
