Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Exp - 15 Years +

  • Lead the development and execution of digital cockpit / SDV / HPC strategies, ensuring alignment with overall product vision and business goals involved with global travel & client acquisitions.
  • Recruiting, Developing & Managing a team of engineers and designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve optimal performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless integration and successful product launches.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the automotive and digital landscape, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation.
  • Represent eInfochips at different forums
  • Drive the development of new features and functionalities for the digital cockpit, ensuring a superior user experience and maximizing value for customers.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines effectively, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Desired Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, ideally with a focus on embedded systems or automotive technology
  • 15-20 years in OEMs or Tier one suppliers designing, developing, the digital cockpit environments in automobiles.

Desired Skills:

Automotive Electronics /Embedded: Proficiency Skills

  • Automotive Infotainment/Cluster/Display SW development, Automotive SOCs and Microcontrollers, CAN/LIN/Ethernet, Automotive Diagnostics, AUTOSAR/GENIVI/OSEK, GDB/JTAG-Debugger/BDI/Lauterbach,
  • HMI tools: Unity/Kanzi/CGI Studio/Altia, Vulkan
  • HMI development for automotive cockpit applications
  • HAL/System Service/Kernel, boot/performance optimization, system hardening, customizations, IPC, CPU/Memory/Network
  • Infotainment Embedded SW development, Audio, Connectivity Stack Integration,
  • Infotainment System and E/E architecture experience, telematics, FOTA and A-OTA concepts IoT/wireless protocols
  • Virtualization (L1, L2, L3, L4), xIL development and integration (MIL, SIL, HIL), Simulation Tools (Plant and environment modeling), Lifecycle management , Test Automation , CI/CD Toolchain, SW/ Platform Debug, Programming Basics

Automotive Software: Skills as added advantages.

  • Basic skills: C/C++/Java/Python/C#/React Native
  • Experience in Program/Project management, Customer management
  • OS: Linux/Android/QNX/Integrity
  • Build make, PM tools: Git/Gerrit/Jenkins/JIRA
  • Process: Apsice, Agile
  • Camera algorithms (Interior Camera, Driver Monitoring System, Front Facing Camera), AR/VR/XR technologies
  • Scripting languages (Python, MATLAB)
  • Experience in OpenGL, OpenGL ES, GLSL, HLSL,3d Shaders, GUI/Graphics frameworks, optimization of application boot-up time and performance such as such as Frozen frames, Slow rendering issues, crashes, and ANRs.
  • 2D and 3D mathematical concepts (linear algebra, matrix multiplication, quaternions, etc.), game engine concepts such as lighting, shaders, materials, meshes, scripting, etc.
