About the Department:


The FTS New Business Services team supports account onboarding, governance, and lifecycle events for institutional and separately managed accounts. The team partners closely with sales, portfolio management, trading, performance, client services, and global operations to ensure accurate account setup, strong controls, and consistent client service. This is a process-driven, collaborative environment offering exposure to global investment operations and institutional clients.

How Will You Add Value?

Core Responsibilities:

  • You will support account openings, closings, mergers, and custodian conversions.

  • You will process in‑kind transfers and account lifecycle events.

  • You will review Investment Management Agreements and Service Level Agreements.

  • You will prepare and validate internal account setup documentation.

  • You will coordinate asset funding, withdrawals, and reconciliations.

  • You will hand off accounts to operations and investment accounting teams.

  • You will maintain account data, workflows, and department databases.


 

Governance, Client Service & Reporting:

  • You will own assigned portfolios and manage daily client inquiries.

  • You will act as the primary contact for institutional and SMA clients.

  • You will support fee processing and performance review activities.

  • You will deliver complex, custom, and performance reports.

  • You will compile monthly operating review data and management reporting.

  • You will support audits, due diligence, and request-for-proposal responses.

Projects & Continuous Improvement:

  • You will participate in global initiatives and system testing.

  • You will support onboarding and client or custodian meetings.

  • You will contribute to cross-training and procedure documentation.


What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role?

Experience, Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or accounting.

  • Five to eight years of investment management or institutional experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • Experience with GMAX, Onetis, SCD, and Gplus systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong client service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Comfort working with global teams and stakeholders.

  • Flexibility for work shifts required.

Work Shift Timings - 4:30 PM – 1:30 AM IST
