What We'll Bring:

Job Summary:
This role involves advanced data analysis using SQL and Spark SQL, supporting ETL setup, and driving insights for business teams. intermediate-level knowledge of Linux commands and cloud environments, and solid experience in data reporting. The ability to understand and analyze Java logs is essential for this role. It is not a Data Engineering or development role.

What You'll Bring:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize complex SQL/Spark SQL queries for large datasets.
• Lead ETL setup and data pipeline validation efforts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and review their work.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Utilize Linux commands for system operations, troubleshooting, and deployment tasks.
• Work within cloud environments (AWS,  GCP) to manage infrastructure, data workflows, and deployments.
• Create and maintain data reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, or similar platforms.

Analyze Java logs to identify and try to resolve performance bottlenecks and application issues.

Impact You'll Make:

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in SQL, Spark SQL, Unix commands and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling.
• Experience with large-scale data environments (e.g., GCP, AWS).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
