A role in Property Management means the opportunity to maximize the performance and longevity of Target’s assets while delivering value, reliability and brand integrity. Leverage and stretch your skills, whether your focus is electrical and plumbing, fire and security, smart buildings, HVAC and refrigeration, waste management and recycling, donations programs, or energy utility expense management. As a Lead Program Manager, HVAC Operations, you will own the vendor strategies, relationships, programs, and spend tied to keeping HVAC assets optimized at nearly 2,000 stores. You will own the Field strategy and relationship to improve knowledge, process, capabilities, and local vendor management. You will help streamline and standardize vendor management processes across GSCL buildings to drive consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence. You will drive new internal technologies and tools that transform how Property Management and partner teams engage with vendors. You will make decisions that align with Target’s expectations for reducing overall expense, increasing asset uptime performance, and maintaining the overall brand and guest experience for Target Stores. You will demonstrate strong financial acumen by owning and optimizing HVAC-related spend, developing and managing budgets, evaluating total cost of ownership, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and ensuring disciplined expense management. You will build compelling business cases grounded in data and analytics to prioritize investments, improve ROI, and deliver measurable value for Target.

About you:
Bachelor’s Degree, BA/BS
Minimum 7 years business experience
Experience managing multiple large projects, vendors, and contracts
Ability to leverage internal and external data, trends, and insights to build long-range strategies and solve complex problems
History of bringing multiple teams together from inside and outside the organization to build relationships and drive actionable results
Ability to understand, synthesize, convey, and lead technical programs and project teams
Can balance and prioritize long-term direction and progress with solving critical issues
Ability to hold vendors accountable to service levels while maintaining strong partnerships
Proven ability to balance field needs with enterprise strategy, financial discipline, and vendor performance standards
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
