Product Designer UX/UI | Thomson Reuters Foundation
The Product Designer UX/UI participates in the Thomson Reuters Foundation's ProductTech team and assists in the creation, development, and delivery of intuitive, impactful digital experiences that advance social change. This role helps shape the future of digital products by embedding user experience at the heart of product delivery.
In this opportunity as Product Designer UX/UI, you will:
Drive rapid prototyping and iterative design processes, translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for digital products.
Lead user research and usability testing operations, collecting user feedback to inform design decisions and validate product concepts.
Set and maintain UX/UI design vision and standards, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives and brand identity.
Manage and develop design systems and component libraries, optimizing for usability and accessibility across all digital assets.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
Mentor and support design team members, sharing best practices and contributing to team development.
Champion innovation by integrating new design trends, tools, and methodologies into our workflow.
Ensure design quality through rigorous review, problem-solving, and continuous improvement based on user insights.
You're fit for the role of Product Designer UX/UI, if you have:
Proven experience in UX/UI design, ideally within SaaS or digital product environments.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, rapid prototyping, and usability testing.
Experience managing or mentoring design teams, with a track record of driving performance and process optimization.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with design systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate user insights into actionable design solutions.
