Job Description:
- Analysis of customer specifications for transmission to product management teams and preparation of offers to meet customer requirements
- Request for quotations in Hitachi Energy factories
- Negotiation with suppliers (payment terms, delivery terms, prices, guarantees)
- Identifying potential risks in quotes
- Understanding commercial terms and conditions, Incoterms, etc.
- Preparation of complete technical and commercial proposals for Service using Hitachi Energy products and services, in an efficient and timely manner, depending on the requests for proposals, as well as tender/specification deadlines
- Use of internal processes for the generation of Service Bid Proposals, as well as the storage of all technical data and prices generated during the proposal process.
- Support in preparing the analysis of the won/lost orders
- Support in updating marketing and proposal databases, systems to optimize the efficiency of bid preparation processes
- Working with the Salesforce.com platform
- Collaboration with Customer Support to coordinate orders to the factory
