Role:
Processes requisitions and provides support for purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, cost, price analyses and contract/purchase order generation.

What the candidate will do:

• Create purchase orders for direct materials.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Create and manage PPAP documentation.
• Monitor supplier shipment performance and delivery metrics.
• Track and follow up on tooling development and completion.
• Execute approved price changes in the system.
• Request and analyze supplier quotations.
• Maintain and update purchasing parameters in the system.
• Coordinate SOX Controls audits and corporate audits for Mexico plants.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• English: Advance level (written and spoken).

What skills the ideal candidate will have:

Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Ability to base business actions, strategies, and policies on data analysis and performance metrics.
• Basic knowledge of SOX control audits

Analytical Thinking:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective alternative solutions.
• Prior involvement in cost savings

Effective Communication:

• Ability to clearly transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and business needs using appropriate communication methods.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office

Procurement Systems Knowledge:

• Intermediate proficiency in SAP, preferably in the CBS module

The best candidates will also have:

• Minimum of 3 years in supply chain areas, preferably in purchasing, procurement, logistics, or manufacturing
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
