What You Will Do:
As a Director in Guidehouse’s Public Sector Financial Services sector, you will be a senior leader of a large and diverse account, with broad responsibility across staff development, client delivery, business development and internal operations. Specific responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a relentless focus on achieving our client's success within the firm's operating framework, and business imperatives.
Model courage, resolve, and fortitude, making sound decisions in the face of the most significant challenges encountered by our business and people
Driving transformational change; challenging teams to optimize immediate-term and long-term solutions
Engaging, mentoring, and inspiring the account team to achieve continuous improvement
Solving highly complex personnel and project challenges, reconciling significant differences of opinions, including legal, regulatory, or other mandated considerations, and, in doing so, be capable of inspiring others to action
Articulating the big picture with staff, clients, and counterparties, while appropriately and effectively communicating with internal and external leadership on relevant matters
Making timely and responsible bid/no-bid decisions based on pWin, ability to delivery work that is won, and assessment of staff burn
Leading business development efforts by leading capture, reviewing proposals, and guiding pricing
Becoming a recognized hub for team, account, practice, and convenor for client & industry; synthesizes, mobilizes, and implements solutions that strengthen Guidehouse
Serving as senior account leader with responsibility of including oversight of deliverables, contract compliance, corporate compliance, financial management
Leading project initiatives related to annual account priorities
Reviewing and analyzing monthly contractual revenue and expenses and lead account team budgeting process
Guiding and mentoring team members and supporting performance assessments
Providing input on staffing plans, talent acquisition, and retention
Facilitating meetings/updates between functional teams and account leadership
Providing onsite leadership presence in corporate and client offices
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ Years Experience in public sector consulting financial services or related field
Deep knowledge of the Federal Reserve System
Expertise in technology and operations optimization
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
Proficiency in Project Management practices
Experience supporting long-term, large-scale contracts, including capture management, pricing, ongoing compliance, project management,
Demonstrated capabilities in process optimization and change management
Solid understanding of engagement economics and budgeting
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent communication and presentation skills
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master’s Degree in a related field
PMP certification
Expertise in Federal Reserve regulatory requirements imposed on banks and financial institutions
Experience leading a large-scale technology implementation
