DESCRIPTION:
Support commercial excellence and client success as a key member of our Sales Operations team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you'll own forecasting responsibilities for booking and revenue to drive accurate business planning, while supporting commission payment operations to ensure timely and accurate compensation processing. You'll provide pricing support and analysis to enable competitive and profitable deal structures. Working closely with the business and commercial team, you'll deliver critical financial data and product information to support strategic decision-making and sales effectiveness. You'll support the demands of the commercial team, directors, and distributors, providing them with data-driven insights to enable better decision-making, all while supporting our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters Degree plus 2 years of experience in sales operations, commercial support, financial analysis or related role

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Finance, Science, Engineering or related field

  • Advanced English required; Spanish desirable

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis tools

  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and ERP platforms

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with ability to synthesize complex data

  • Demonstrated expertise in revenue and booking forecasting

  • Experience supporting commission payment operations and processes

  • Strong pricing analysis and financial modeling capabilities

  • Ability to synthesize financial and product data for strategic insights

  • Clear written and verbal communication abilities to support multiple stakeholders

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including commercial teams

  • Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to support business operations with data-driven recommendations

  • Self-directed with ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Professional approach and demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
