Position Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help build and scale the next generation of data science products and measurement capabilities at CVS. In this role, you’ll work closely with Data Science, Product, and Marketing teams to design, deploy, and operationalize machine learning systems that power channel optimization, audience strategy, and marketing insights.

You’ll be the engineering backbone behind our analytics and optimization engines—improving model deployment pipelines, strengthening ML infrastructure, and integrating emerging AI technologies into real business workflows. If you enjoy working at the intersection of ML, infrastructure, and product, this is a high-impact opportunity.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong Python engineering skills.
• Experience deploying ML models in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with ML pipeline tools (Airflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker, etc.).
• Experience with API development and backend engineering.
• Understanding of model monitoring, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with DS and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting marketing, optimization, or measurement models.
• Knowledge of data processing frameworks (SQL, Spark, BigQuery, etc.).
• Familiarity with LLMs or modern AI tools (a plus).
• Experience working in large, matrixed organizations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Master’s degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$111,240.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
