Title: Digital EFT Product Manager – Enterprise Finance & Compliance
Location: Philadelphia, PA ( 3 days a week in office)
As part of the Enterprise Functions & Transformation (EFT) organization in the Enabling Functions team, the Digital EFT Product Manager – Enterprise Finance & Compliance is responsible for the strategic planning, development, launch, and ongoing management of digital products or IT solutions that support FMC’s global Finance organization. As Product Manager – Enterprise Finance & Compliance, this role will own the end-to-end technology portfolio and lead a team to drive the delivery of systems enablement activities covering the following key areas in Finance: record-to-report, product costing, direct tax & transfer pricing, statutory reporting, financial consolidations, fixed assets, and financial planning & analysis. This role is a key leadership role that manages a team of DIGITAL resources; this role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, customers, and technical teams, ensuring that products meet user needs, align with business goals, and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Owns and drives their assigned areas/aspects of the technology portfolio of applications and/or functional modules that enable the business/function operating model. This includes partnering with stakeholders in the Finance organization and within our Digital organization to define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features. Key stakeholders in the Finance organization [specifically teams that cover record-to-report, product costing, tax (includes transfer pricing), statutory reporting, financial consolidations and financial planning & analysis], which can include those business sponsors, global process owners and/or regional functional teams. Key stakeholders in the Digital organization include peers and team members in the Enterprise Functions & Transformation (EFT) team as well as cross-functional teams and center-led cross capabilities teams (e.g. Enterprise Technology Solutions (network & infrastructure), Cybersecurity, Digital Data & Innovation, etc.). Key external stakeholders include strategic vendor partners (e.g. SAP, Blackline, Citibank, etc.).
- Leadership/People Management: Leads a team of Digital/IT resources focused on driving the delivery of highest value work that addresses stakeholder needs, priorities and business outcomes. Direct reports to this role include System Analyst(s), Solution Engineer(s) and (as needed) Delivery Lead; indirect reports to this role include System Specialist(s).
- Demand Intake, Value, Impact & Priority Definition: Directs and coordinates demand intake and backlog management for their assigned areas aligned with governance model; includes ideas for new projects/programs, corporate initiatives, TLS requirements, enhancements & roadmap items) and works closely with Finance stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on business value outcomes & impact to be achieved, set the appropriate priority, drive scoping & planning activities, and oversee proper coordination & execution of the implementation delivery (note: the latter two are done in partnership with the DIGITAL PMO and EFT Cross Functional Delivery Lead).
- Enterprise Systems Domain Accountability: Own product accountability for the assigned domain within the enterprise systems ecosystem (e.g., ERP and connected platforms); responsible for controls, integrity, and audit readiness; partner across Digital teams to maintain release/change/cutover governance; govern vendor outcomes and capacity; and drive innovation tied to business outcomes/KPIs.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and development to launch, iteration, and retirement
- Lead delivery and the team: Manage and guide Digital/IT resources (e.g., system analysts, solution architects, delivery lead) to deliver high-value outcomes.
- Own demand intake and prioritization: Direct demand intake and backlog management, clarify value/impact, set priorities, and coordinate scope/planning with the PMO.
- Own lifecycle and measurable results: Oversee the full product lifecycle (build → launch → iterate → retire), track performance with KPIs, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, identify market opportunities, and monitor trends to inform product decisions.
- Performance Tracking: Measure and analyze product performance using KPIs and metrics; implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Customer Advocacy: Represent the voice of the customer throughout the product development process, ensuring user needs are prioritized.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies related to product development and delivery.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is essential; a Master's degree is strongly preferred, especially for candidates leading multidisciplinary teams and owning the product portfolio in an ERP pod-structured environment.
Experience:
- 7 + years of experience in product management, digital product development, ERP ecosystem oversight, or IT project management, with demonstrated success in leading teams.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha!). Proven familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha!), with additional experience in cross-functional leadership and portfolio ownership considered a significant advantage.
- Experience managing digital products, SaaS platforms, or enterprise IT solutions (e.g., ERP ecosystems such as SAP S/4HANA and associated Friends systems such as Concur, IBP, ARIBA, MDG, and SAC) is highly desirable.
