Position Overview:

The Product/Data Analyst Senior serves as a strategic and technical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role is responsible for analyzing complex business/product problems and identifying opportunities to solve them through automated systems and innovative solutions. This position is based onsite in McLean, VA.

Our Impact:

The Credit Risk Transfer (CRT) Product Team at Freddie Mac enables business operational excellence through the flexible use of technology. The team supports the needs of the CRT business and operations groups as they transfer Freddie Mac’s Single Family mortgage credit risk to the private market. In addition to championing and empowering business partners, we take steps to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Your Impact:

  • Lead initiatives to resolve complex business/product challenges through direct engagement with business stakeholders.
  • Conduct data analysis of large, complex datasets and use visuals to explain findings and support decision-making.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria (using Gherkin syntax); review for completeness and clarity.
  • Collaborate with development teams and Product Owners to clarify requirements and ensure successful execution throughout the Agile lifecycle.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders; document outcomes and update business process documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 5+ years of product analysis experience with a strong focus on data.
  • Proficient in SQL and data analysis (SAS or Python is a plus).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and managing Sprint cycles in JIRA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $108,000 - $152,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
