Summary:

The Bookkeeper is responsible for creating reports, sending invoices, and following up on outstanding payments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Create invoices to be sent to clients each month by predetermined deadline.
  • Compile monthly electronic folder with invoices based upon what invoices were sent that month.
  • Run report out of Quick Books to show what invoices are outstanding and have not yet been paid.
  • Create an Excel spreadsheet which documents what invoices have been paid by the house and which have been paid by the client for the Commissions team.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined
  • Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines
  • Must like working with numbers
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Must be detail-oriented

Education, Training and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Outlook required
  • Must have Quick Books experience
  • Prior bookkeeping or Accounts Payable background helpful

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
