The Opportunity:
You will have the opportunity to lead a large project to modernize the SCN Antenna Infrastructure with an already approved design
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for working with a team of engineers executing complex engineering projects.
You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, development, and execution of system design, development and implementation.
You will be responsible for work that is high quality and on schedule.
Typically has strong knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the program/project.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field and a minimum of 7 years related IT work experience with:
Current US Secret Security Clearance
3+ yrs Management of hardware and software projects.
DoD Systems Engineering
Frequent communication with senior leadership in the form of presentations, white papers, staff meetings, and daily correspondence.
Ensuring engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformity with an organization’s established policies and objectives
Ability to coordinate and direct project plans to accomplish the desired objectives
Maintaining strong relationships with government customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Experience with Configuration Management, Drafting, Test and Network engineering processes

Satellite Control Network (SCN) experience
Mission Transport Remote Tracking Station (MTR) experience
Radio Frequency antenna experience
Microsoft or Linux server experience
Network modeling experience
