Our Global Operations & Quality team plays a central part in ensuring our products are delivered to patients with cardiovascular disease. You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.
How you will make an impact:
• Integrated Planning and Supply‑Demand Balancing: Analyze demand and supply alignment by validating MRP outputs, addressing gaps with recovery actions, and supporting short‑term and mid‑term planning to meet business targets.
• Flow and Supply Assurance: Ensure accurate planning data and continuity of material flow from supplier to production and delivery, proactively manage supply risks (e.g. shortages, delays, capacity constraints), and lead cross‑functional issue resolution to minimize impact on production and service levels.
• Supply Planning & Supplier Alignment: Validate MRP signals to ensure accurate material requirements and timing for procurement, maintain ownership of end‑to‑end material flow, and provide planning inputs to support sourcing decisions including localization, capacity feasibility, and business continuity planning.
• Inventory Optimization & Control: Analyze and optimize inventory levels to meet entitlement and service targets using safety stock, DOH, Min/Max, and ROP parameters; balance trade‑offs between inventory, service level, and cost; and drive actions to address excess, slow‑moving, and critical shortage materials.
• Cross‑Functional Coordination & Issue Resolution: Coordinate cross functional teams to resolve material issues, capacity issues and ensure aligned supply plans.
• Delivery & Network Support: Support inter‑site material flow and network planning, drive timely resolution of RMA, quality, and material issues impacting supply, and ensure on‑time order fulfillment across the network.
• Digital, Data & Continuous Improvement: Use dashboards and analytics to identify risks and support planning decisions, analyze key data trends to recommend actions, and drive process improvement initiatives to improve planning efficiency, data accuracy, and cycle time.
• Compliance & Process Adherence: Support audits, ensure adherence to planning and procurement processes, and maintain accurate documentation and traceability.

What you'll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree in related field , 3 Years Related experience Required
• Experience in purchasing, logistics and/or production control;
• Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry Preferred
What else we look for (Preferred):
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience MRP and ERP (e.g. JDE) preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to purchasing material, logistics, and/or production control
• Solid knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management programs (e.g., Kanban, Min/Max)
• Solid knowledge of market and economic indicators, practices and procurement procedures
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
