Anaplan is looking for an Application Developer to join us in our Supply Chain Application team.  This team designs and builds on the Anaplan platform out-of-the-box and configurable Applications across the breadth of Supply Chain Use Cases (Demand, Inventory, Supply, IBP/S&OP etc.

The model builder is responsible for build capabilities on the Anaplan platform to meet the requirements provided by our Supply Chain Product Management.  You will work closely with Application Architects who will guide on complex designs, and be expected to own and progress your portfolio of model building activity.

The role will with our Supply Chain go-to-market and professional services colleagues to ensure that they are able to exploit the application capabilities released by the team.

 

Your Impact

  • Build Supply Chain Applications by leveraging core Anaplan platform capabilities, spanning the suite of Anaplan platform components (model building, data management, UX building etc).
  • Partner with Application Product Management to ensure requirements are understood.
  • Design/architect the modelling and UX to meet the requirements and work with Architects where the requirements are complex.
  • Ensuring new features are prepared to high standard and support a smooth UAT process.
  • Ensuring the user experience that sits across any features developed is intuitive and east to use.
  • Producing model documentation and keeping up to date as new development takes place.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Experience as Anaplan Model Builder and Level 3 certification
  • Experience with some of the wider facets of the Anaplan platform (PlanIQ, Optimizer, Workflow and Polaris etc) is useful but not essential
  • Numerically literate, and likely to have a STEM undergraduate degree
  • Ability to manage your model build activities through to completion.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on model-building best-practices and standards.
  • A focus on the end user experience is essential
  • An ‘engineering mindset’ to Anaplan architecture; ensuring configurable functionality and pre-empting edge cases.
