Position Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management:
- Manage assigned equity portfolios to achieve target performance
- Develop and implement investment strategies based on market trends and economic conditions
- Make investment decisions (sector & stock selection) and asset allocation (equity vs. cash) for the equity portfolios at discretion in accordance with Fund’s mandate and investment parameters as well as in strict compliance with investment policies and guidelines of the organization.
- Regularly review, analyze fund performance and perform portfolio risk analysis
- Meet clients to discuss investment strategies and to provide updates on market outlook and portfolio performance
- Attend relevant regional and local investment meetings for performance reporting, risk management, strategy presenting, market/sector discussion
Research
- Conduct research on market outlook, industry/sector outlook & trends, investment themes to support for investment strategies
- Conduct detailed fundamental research at sector and stock level to identify investment opportunities
- Regularly attend companies’ analyst meetings, sell-side discussions, industry conferences
- Ad-hoc research and assignments as and when required.
Business development:
- Collaborate and assist Sales & Marketing team in promoting fund products
- Participate in fund raising projects and development of new fund products
- Coordinate with regional office in fund raising effort for onshore/offshore funds.
- Work with relevant departments relating to portfolio management works
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor Degree with Finance/Accounting/Economics background
- SSC license is required
- CFA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of investment management experience covering Vietnam/Asian markets
- Proficiency in investment softwares such as Bloomberg, Fiinpro, Fiintrade
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High integrity and compliance mindset
