Join our Team: Welding Manufacturing Engineer

Education / qualifications:

Industrial, Mechanic, Mechatronic Engineering

Main responsibilities of the position:

  • Identify opportunities in manufacturing, welding, and painting processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and design efficient manufacturing processes that optimize resource utilization.
  • Evaluate and analyze production, welding, and/or painting processes to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions that increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Research and implement new technologies and production methodologies, welding automation, and/or painting to improve processes.
  • Collaborate with designers to redefine tools, equipment, and/or products to make them easier and more economical to manufacture.
  • Design work systems and processes that efficiently integrate people, materials, information, and technology.
  • Analyze equipment, manufacturing processes, and workflows to determine the best way to distribute materials.
  • Train personnel and provide information on manufacturing, welding, and/or painting processes.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to processes, procedures, and specifications, including engineering changes. Identify the root causes and resolve operational problems in production, such as bottlenecks or variations in material usage.
  • Standardize rework on assembly, welding, and/or painting lines to reduce nonconformities.
  • Ensure that assembly, welding, and/or painting processes are performed according to quality plans and standards using production management tools.
  • Implement quality control systems to ensure that products meet required standards.
