What Is the Opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for a Process Improvement Analyst to join our team based in London.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will proactively lead or contribute to operational effectiveness and continuous projects or initiatives with the customer experience in mind. You will provide 'lean thinking' guidance and operational technical support, and will focus on identifying opportunities to improve productivity, decrease costs, improve accuracy and timeliness, change behaviour's and improve control and oversight.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

This role is eligible for a £1500 new joiner bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus.

What Will You Do?

  • Build strong partnerships with business colleagues at all levels across through providing process improvement knowledge and experience.

  • Assist with improving overall business performance by identifying risks, issues and opportunities linked to the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations and business performance.

  • Help to introduce changes in business processes and organisation behaviour's that have a positive impact on the bottom line and customer experience.

  • Review of 'As Is' processes and help to document process changes and ‘To Be’ process designs.

  • Support the preparation of cost-effective recommendations for 'To Be’ process improvements.

  • Assist with the presentations and communications / stakeholder engagement with sponsors and senior leaders.

  • Help to coordinate and support the implementation efforts to achieve the identified benefits using appropriate project and change management techniques,

  • Facilitate continuous improvement review meetings, engage, and help to collaborate with senior leaders and project stakeholders.

  • Work with the SP&E and support in strategic organisational initiatives (outputs of PI planning) where related to or requiring process improvements.

  • Support the best practice framework for good business process management including advocacy of procedures and training manuals.

  • Where necessary, help to produce procedures and training materials across TRV Europe and ensure these are in line with best practice.

  • Train SMEs and appropriate Business Leads on the business process best practices to ensure the business teams can maintain process documentation in line with our best practices.

What is a Must Have?

  • General knowledge of the insurance industry or previous experience within a financial institutions setting.

  • Experience of working on and supporting continuous improvement / process improvement projects or initiatives.

  • Experience of Process Analysis and ability to look at data associated with a process.

  • Strong experience with Excel, data manipulation and pivot tables.

  • Experience of facilitating and helping to coordinate workshops and meetings with senior leaders and stakeholders.

  • Experience of producing high quality process maps, procedure documents and training materials

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • University degree preferred.

  • Lean training and Six Sigma (Green belt certified or above) preferred.

  • Strong interest in change management.

  • Experience of or interest in design thinking and systems thinking desirable

  • You will:

  • Have previously successfully participated in and possible taken a lead role in multiple process improvement projects or initiatives.

  • Research the latest market trends and insights to support our knowledge base and help maintain our process improvements assets across TRV Europe.

  • Interested in innovation and technology but determined to lead with business process improvement that deliver tangible business benefits.

  • Excellent facilitation skills.

  • Hold the ability to navigate matrix organisations, working collaboratively with other Business functions.

  • Demonstrate operational skills necessary to deliver established business plans.

  • Be highly organised, delivery focused and be able to work under your own initiative.

  • Be a good communicator who is comfortable both at a strategic level as well as at a detailed level.
