Reporting to the Service Director India and South Asia, the Service Support Manager is responsible for handling team of dispatchers coordinating service activities for online and laboratory analytical instruments used in water, wastewater, and industrial process monitoring applications. The role ensures publishing weekly service dashboards, ensuring effective scheduling of service jobs, coordination with Field Service Engineers, addressing customer escalations, and accurate and timely service invoicing in accordance with AMC/CMC and service contract terms.

This position is part of the India Commercial Organization located in Bangalore and will be Hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Supervise daily customer support operations, including scheduling of engineers and track issue resolution
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex customer concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Works closely with bidding team for timely submission of GEM tenders, tenders from public sector/RFQs from customers
  • Ensure timely invoicing of Contracts and track contract coverage and renewals
  • Collaborate with field service engineers and technical teams to align customer support with service delivery
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve response times, and enhance customer experience
  • Track KPIs such as response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores; prepare regular reports for management.
  • Work closely with sales, technical, and global service teams to ensure customer needs are met consistently
  • Works with IT teams for resolution of issues in handling Service work orders
  • Ensures safety stock for critical instruments to cater customers quickly.  

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Chemical).
  • 8 - 10 years of experience with proven service revenue growth responsibility.
  • Willingness to relocate across India basis job / company priorities
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Teamwork and ability to work across cultures, locations, and business teams
  • Expertise in MS office. Exposure to Copilot AI tools would be added advantage
  • Proactive and action-oriented with an eye for detail
  • Self-motivated with a passion for driving business growth in a rapidly evolving market
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain customer relationships
