Location: Belfast, UK (Hybrid, in office 1 day a week)

Job Summary:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will participate in new product development and improve existing products. You will join an empowered Agile team, working on technical designs, implementing solutions, and partnering broadly across our growing mix of Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Engineers, and Stakeholders. We are looking for someone who prioritizes collaboration and brings a unique mix of technical and interpersonal skills, enabling us to become an even stronger team. You are a senior-level engineer with experience working with technologies like Java, React, JavaScript frameworks, relational and non-relational databases, RESTful web services, and SAAS/Cloud applications. Your proactivity and desire for personal growth will allow aPriori to scale into the future.

Responsibilities:
•    In this pivotal role, you will be part of the team dedicated to delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers.
•    Join Forces across teams to design stable and efficient user experiences, ensuring seamless interactions for customers and scalability for all our products   
•    Lead your team in design sessions and ensure your team delivers high-quality work that aligns with the missions of our applications and platform. 
•    Collaborate closely and effectively with cross-functional teams and a diverse group of stakeholders and business leads to understand business vision and requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•    Mentor and train software engineers to ensure that they have the necessary skills to grow and be successful in their roles.

Qualifications: 
•    You have experience as the expert on a development team where you were responsible for everything from planning to delivering key features and management of those features
•    Expertise with modern client JS frameworks, like Node.JS, TypeScript, React, and Redux
•    Implement user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces based on UX/UI designs, ensuring seamless user experiences across devices.
•    Knowledge of Cloud Services like AWS, GCP and containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
•    Experience using front-end tooling like Lerna and Yarn, with knowledge of current best practices and async, reactive programming patterns.
•    Good understanding of data structures, web performance optimizations and limitations
•    You also could write automated comprehensive test suites at all levels of the architecture
•    Knowledge in event-driven architecture, including event sourcing, CQRS, and pub/sub patterns, to enhance system scalability, responsiveness, and maintainability is a bonus.
•    Experience with Java or Python is a bonus.
•    Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases like MongoDB, DocumentDB or DynamoDB is a bonus.
