Job Summary

We are looking to add a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to effectively support the Finance and Accounting department. This position is a full-time, in-person role that will be working out of our San Antonio office.

Job Details

Functional Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support the accounting department.

  • Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.

  • Contact individuals with delinquent accounts and ensure customers accept payments or refunds.

  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations

  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel.

  • Input data such as invoices, checks received, deposits, account statements, reports, and other records to NetSuite Online.

  • Maintain and process Company Office expenses
     

Education and Skill Requirements:

  • Associate or higher degree in accounting or relevant work experience.

  • Working knowledge of basic accounting procedures, namely Accounts Receivable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • NetSuite Online experience preferred.

  • US Military Veteran a plus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Physical Requirements

This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and nights work per events

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work

  • Light to moderate lifting is required

  • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).

  • Ability to work in a confined area.

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
