Job Description​

The Project Manager Cardiometabolic Center Alliance will be responsible for activity and resource planning, organizing and motivating Alliance member sites regarding adoption of the CMCA core protocols, processes of care and SOPs, financial stewardship and understanding of CMCA and Alliance members’ budgetary issues, ensuring Alliance member satisfaction and engagement and managing projects at each assigned member site from start up to maintenance.

5 years or more in Nursing, Pharmacy or other related healthcare industry position required. Cardiology and/or Diabetes therapeutic background preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

  • Maintain high-level understanding of all CMCA protocols, processes of care, SOPs, and educational materials used for training and start-up of member sites
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of CMCA protocols, processes of care, SOPS and educational materials as well as assistance in revisions of current policies and development of new materials.
  • Be present on-site during the initial implementation phase of the CMCA model at each member site and oversee training of local staff on the CMCA protocols, processes of care, SOPs, REDCap registry, staff and patient education materials
  • Monitor data entry and assist with identification and implementation of quality improvement initiatives 
  • Provide monthly progress reporting to Program Director on status of each Alliance site assigned to individual Project Manager  
  • Develop root cause analysis and action plan for member sites that are outliers in terms of defined quality metrics
  • Communicate regularly with assigned Alliance sites via on site visits, conference calls and email
  • Help develop regular site communication newsletters with educational articles, protocol updates, CMCA quality initiatives, etc.
  • Serve as fiscal steward of CMCA travel expenditures and timely completion of expense reporting
  • Represent CMCA at local and national scientific meetings and conferences and assist in the recruitment of new sites as well as successful maintenance of current sites
  • Maintain professional credentials (RN, CDE, PharmD etc.)
  • Participate on one or more of the CMCA committee meetings as non-voting, attending staff of the CMCA
