JOB TITLE: Software Configuration Specialist I

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Software Configuration Associate at Duck Creek Technologies will play a crucial role in the initial setup, customization, and ongoing maintenance of our software products. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic global software company. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that software configurations meet client requirements and adhere to industry best practices. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the setup and configuration of software applications to meet client specifications.
• Collaborate with the software development team to understand and implement configuration requirements.
• Perform initial testing and validation of configured software to ensure functionality and accuracy.
• Document configuration processes and procedures for future reference and training purposes.
• Provide support to the client services team in resolving configuration-related issues.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

• Bachelor’s in engineering or technology (B.E. /B.Tech), or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering with a CGPA of 7.5 or higher (equivalent to 70% or more).
• Total Work Experience: No experience required, and up to one year of experience. Previous internships preferred. 
• Industry certificate bootcamp experiences (preferred). 
• Strong interest in technology and software systems
• Basic problem-solving skills to identify and address configuration issues.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as required.
• Exposure with .Net Solutions and SQL DB and relational database design would be a plus
• Exposure of XSLT, XML, XPATH, HTML, CSS, AJAX would be a plus
  • Location: Candidate must reside in Mumbai. 
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in India. 
  • Start Date: The position is set to commence on January 6, 2025, without exception.
  • Availability: Physical presence in our Mumbai office is required for the first two weeks, starting from January 6, 2025, for program kickoff and in-person training.
