About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to join our fast-growing Marketing IT team. As part of the team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data infrastructure and processes within the Adobe Experience Platform for effective implementation of RTCDP (Adobe’s CDP Solution). Your focus will be on leveraging RTCDP’s capabilities to ensure seamless data integration, accessibility, and reliability, empowering marketing and business teams to derive meaningful insights and deliver personalized experiences.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand marketing and business data requirements and design scalable solutions within the RTCDP.
Define and implement the architecture for storing, processing, and retrieving customer data within the AEP ecosystem.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure smooth integration of data from diverse sources into the RTCDP.
Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
Design and implement data models within the RTCDP to support efficient storage and retrieval of customer data.
Optimize performance through indexing, partitioning, and other relevant techniques.
Work with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions to ensure seamless integration and utilization of customer data across the marketing ecosystem
Implement robust security measures within the RTCDP to protect customer data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Collaborate with the security team to implement encryption, access controls, and other security best practices.
Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and address issues related to data quality, performance, and availability.
Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including data backups, updates, and system optimisations.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience as a data engineer with a focus on CDP (Customer Data Platform)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and experience with relevant frameworks.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and database systems.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions and their integration with RTCDP.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and relevant services.
Proficient in transforming structured and unstructured data. Experience working on CI/CD processes such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD etc., and source control tools such as GitHub, etc.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Work Shift: 2 PM IST to 11 PM IST
