About our Team
 

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will be joining a team of curious, collaborative Business Analysts, also working alongside the Software Engineering API Team.
 

About the Role
 

As a Technical Data Business Analyst you will be joining the API team. This position will work with one or more business domains, supporting a strategic program aimed at delivering Data as a Strategy solutions. The role will predominantly focus on gathering and analysing requirements, defining processes, and creating user stories. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and other roles within the tribe, translating requirements into both functional and data specifications.
 

Responsibilities
 

• Working closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and meticulously document business requirements and processes.
• Translating requirements into user stories, testing scenarios, success criteria and user documentation
• Providing comprehensive training and support to end-users and other team members on data-related tools and processes.
• Developing complex systems specifications, process flow, and conversion strategies.
• Performing analysis on existing systems; identify options for potential solutions and assess for both technical and business suitability.
• Contributing to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet desired product needs. .

Requirements
 

• Have a Understanding of SQL, Python, or other programming languages used for data manipulation
  or ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, Streamsets.
• Have the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation and influence stakeholders to action
• Display proven experience as a Business Analyst identifying and delivering improvements that make a difference
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of data cataloguing, data management, analysis and processing. Experience of working in an Agile, Scrum or Kanban environment
