The David H. Koch Center, opened in April 2018 at our NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell campus, and is setting a new bar in personalized outpatient care -- from diagnosis to treatment -- by integrating new technologies and innovative clinical approaches to provide the highest quality care and enhance the patient experience.  This 750,000-square foot, multi-specialty treatment center is designed to accommodate the latest technologies and will feature many innovations in the delivery of care to meet patient’s expectations in new ways. Staff Nurse - Pre-Anesthesia Evaluation Center - Full Time

This is a full-time position at NYP/Weill Cornell - David H. Koch Center working 4/10's M-F from 7:30am-6pm, with no call, weekends, or holidays. Must be willing to rotate one day off every six months.

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of RN experience in Periop/OR

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

• Current New York State RN license

• ACLS and BCLS certifications according to the American Heart Association

• Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science 

• Knowledge of current health care environment 

• Knowledge of customer service principles 

• Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills 

• Knowledge of use of computer applications 

• Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care
