MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Responsible to create and implement portfolio strategies, LPR for TA including develop marketing plan, brand strategy and effective marketing campaign to deliver short- and long-term growth.
- Lead key initiatives, growth projects, new product launches to develop business.
- Lead and develop marketing competencies of team members.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading marketing strategy for all brands under TA
- Identify, analyze, and translate product, brand, customer, consumer, and competitive information into marketing plans.
- Recognize trends and derive appropriate insight from financial data.
- Keep abreast of the market dynamics, competition, products, disease states, therapeutic areas, and current research, and use this knowledge to craft a compelling message for the target audience. Understand the healthcare industry, government policies; distribution channels; and pricing strategies
- Oversee the development of annual brand plans, ensuring that they include marketing objectives, strategies, advertising, promotion, and timely execution.
- Examine complaints and suggestions about assigned products and create action plans to address them.
Leading marketing plan implementation for all brands under TA
- Effectively manage marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the products to achieve short and long-term business objectives, including revenue, sales, profit and market share targets
- Monitor and manage marketing activities within the allocated budget, as well as comprehend the fundamentals of financial performance.
- Review to ensure all materials and activities are aligned with and executed in accordance with the larger, strategic plan
- Monitor and report on the productivity of marketing plans and projects
- Build and manage budgets, reports, and forecasts in a timely manner
- Participate in annual budget Plan/ Update cycle
- Achieve forecast accuracy and new products launch KPI targets
- Ensure marketing activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards and Corporate Business and Safety procedures
- Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, upwards and downwards
- Support Business Excellence recertification and sustain business excellence standards
People management
- Develop and coach the team to build high performance team. Support sub-ordinates in implementing of their development & growth plans
- Oversee the sustainability and engagement team
- Coach (Senior) Brand Managers upgraded brand strategy & execution
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, motivate and coach the team and provide guidance
- Set and monitor targets for individual in the team to ensure high performance management
- Support employees in implementing of their growth plans. Develop and maintain succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner.
- Ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility.
MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Work Experience
Minimum 6 – 8 years’ experience in pharma industry. And at least 5 years’ experience in Marketing management.
